WELCOME TO RAD KIDS!
RadKids is the Birth - 5th grade ministry of Radical Church. We want you to feel comfortable dropping your kids off with us every week, so we want to answer some questions that you might have before your children visit RadKids for the first time.
Why should I pre-register my kids?
Pre-registering your kids is the best way to make your Sunday morning as smooth as possible! You'll be able to skip the check-in lines, send any special notes about your kids to our Rad Kids team, and ask any questions you may have.
YOUR FIRST VISIT

CHECK IN: When you arrive, you will be directed to the RadKids Check-In in the lobby. At the Check-In Kiosk, you will be greeted by a Kids Volunteer that can answer any questions you might have. Make sure to let us know it's your first time so we can serve you better! After entering your child's information, a security tag will be printed for you and your child. NOTE: No one is allowed to pick up your child unless they have the corresponding security tag! Then we will escort you to the appropriate area for your children, and allow you to meet the Room Leader, and check out the area. No one is allowed inside the Kids Areas except approved volunteers, but we want you to be able to see where your child will be having fun for the next hour from outside of the dividers.
PICK UP: After service ends, head back to the RadKids Check-In Kiosk, present your security tag to the Kids Volunteer, and you will be allowed to head back to your child’s area. Present your tag one more time to the Room Leader, and your child will be allowed to leave with you. Note: If you lose your security tag, we will have to verify your identity before allowing you to pick-up your child. This is for the safety of all our children in RadKids.

Rad Kids is committed to providing a safe space for kids to have fun, and learn about Jesus at their level.
Nursery (6 weeks - 2yrs), have lots of toys, fun activities, age appropriate Bible stories, and prayer. If you have an infant or toddler, we will assist with diaper changes & snacks as needed. Drop your diaper bag off with your child’s Room Leader, and make sure to give them any info they need so they will know how to take care of your baby the way you would!
Littles (preschool) will have a short Bible lesson, crafts, fun activities, and snacks. Rad Kids Leaders will help your Littles discover who God is, and how much He loves them!
Bigs (elementary) will have interactive worship time, an age-appropriate Bible lesson, crafts, and fun games. Rad Kids Leaders aim to help our Bigs believe in God, and learn what it means to live like Jesus.

YES! The best part about RadKids is seeing the big smiles on their faces as they leave. They will learn about Jesus, have a lot of fun, make great friends, and want to come back next week!

YES! It is a requirement for anyone working with minors to be background checked and participate in an interview before entering the Kids Areas.

Here’s how we ensure your child’s safety while in RadKids:
Our security tag system keeps children from leaving with anyone who is not their guardian.
We have a no-photo policy for all kids volunteers, but we will have church photographers in the kids areas. Every parent can request pictures not be used of their children when you check-in your kids.
We will assist with diaper changes up to 3 years old, and will only take potty-trained kids to the restroom with two adults present.
No child will ever be alone with an adult.
All volunteers are background checked and go through an interview before serving.
