OPEN POSITIONS

  • Purpose
    The Connections Pastor is a highly motivated leader who enjoys connecting with people and helping them take their next steps at Radical Church — moving people from first-time guest to full participation in the church. They will help people connect in three primary ways: To the church (through Guest Experience), to each other (through Rad Groups), to serving (through the Rad Team).

    Qualifications:
    The ideal candidate for this position has a minimum two years of ministry experience (ministry degree is a plus). They have a high level of emotional intelligence and use that gift to make guests feel like family. They have a proven record of recruiting and equipping high-capacity leaders. They have a track record of delegating work and ministry tasks and effectively creating systems to do so, and they have a heart for hospitality and an attentiveness for improving details of the guest experience for everyone from first-time guest to long-time member.

    • A strong communicator in classroom and training settings, and also from the stage.

    • An organized self-starter, who has the ability to troubleshoot and create processes and systems with a strong eye for detail
    • Strongly gifted in the area of leading and shepherding, and knows how to train leaders and delegate ministry tasks and assignments
    • Highly emotionally intelligent, with a skill and gift for remembering people, listening, understanding, and connecting people with people, and helping them understand where they fit in the big picture of Radical
    • A team player who enjoys having fun with a staff team

    Primary Duties:
    • Lead Guest Experience Team on Sundays (Parking, Greeters, Ushers, Hosts, Hospitality, Safety)
    • Recruit, Train, and Care for Guest Experience Team Members
    • Follow-Up with Guests and New Believers Promptly
    • Lead Next Steps (Welcome Party and Serve 101)
    • Lead Rad Groups Leader Trainings and Rad Groups Launch Events
    • Lead Rad Team Rallies (3x/yr volunteer appreciation/training events)
    • Develop new processes and systems for discipleship and assimilation
    • Communicate with clarity and charisma from stage during Sunday services as needed

    Proficiencies:
    • Asana (or similar project management systems)
    • Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets, Drive, Slides Calendar, Gmail)
    • Planning Center (or other church management system)
    • Text in Church (or other church texting service)
    • Canva or Adobe Suite

    Expectations:

    • Work Hours: This is a full time position (Sunday-Thursday | 9am-4pm) Remote work is available one day/week.
    Alignment: Align with the Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Culture Keys of Radical Church.
    Leadership: Sign and adhere to the Radical Church Leadership Honor Code.

    Pre-Hiring Requirements
    The following are required in order to be considered for employment at Radical Church:

    • Salvation: The personal decision of being a Christ follower as evidenced by: 

    ○  Confession and repentance of sins 
    ○  Believing that Jesus is the son of God and that he died for your sins and rose again. 
    ○  Acknowledging Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord.

    • Water Baptism: The public declaration of faith in Christ through water immersion as exemplified by Jesus in Matthew 3.  

    • The Scriptures: The candidate believes and upholds that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and is our authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

    • Background Check: The candidate will be required to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process. A clean background check is a condition of employment. Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must not have a history of convictions for criminal offenses that would pose a conflict with the responsibilities of the role or the safety of those entrusted to their leadership.

  • Purpose
    The Rad Kids Pastor will develop strategic, sustainable, and scalable ministries for kids and families. This includes oversight of all ministry to kids, birth through fifth grade, including Sunday services, camps, and special events.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as RadKids Pastor providing leadership to all ministry to children (Average attendance is 120 children from Birth-5th grade)
    • Develop, implement, and execute weekly programming and special events
    • Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to minister to children
    • Cast a compelling vision for staff, volunteers and families
    • Assist in providing ministry care to kids and their families as needed

    • A dynamic leader with a track record of leading staff, volunteers, & families
    • A strong communicator in classroom and training settings, and also from the stage.

    • Can develop strategic, sustainable, and scalable ministries for kids & families
    • Possesses an authentic, genuine spirit in their faith, work, and relationships
    • A self-starter who has the ability to troubleshoot and create processes and systems that move ministry forward
    • Strongly gifted in the area of leading and shepherding, and knows how to train leaders and delegate ministry tasks and assignments
    • Has a humble and collaborative approach to team-based ministry
    • At least two years of experience leading in a church or educational environment
    • A team player who enjoys having fun with a staff team

    • Work Hours: This is a part-time position (20-25 hrs/week) Note: As Rad Kids continues to grow, this position will become Full-Time.

    Monday: 9am-4pm
    Tue-Thu: As needed
    Summer Kids Camp
